Long-range cruisers have taken over as the most popular type of vessels being sold today, but with their monstrous and attractive style comes a whopping price tag as well. However, SV Design’s new creation is a yacht concept different from her relatives, mainly oriented toward savings. With its simple geometric shapes for hull, superstructure and windows, SV Design has managed to put up a large and luxurious yacht with a very reasonable building cost. Dubbed Private, this yacht’s organized layout starting from a wide helipad and a wheelhouse dominating the whole ship, gives a very neat theme to the vessel. The top deck is exclusively dedicated to the owner’s suite, with a big accommodation area opening to a sheltered sun deck and jacuzzi through wide windows is among the industry’s best practices and definitely offers a big attraction to own one. The main deck is receiving lounges and VIP cabins while the lower aft deck is made of a large lazarette fitted with wide doors opening on three directions, to become a fully equipped bath area. However, the lower forward deck is totally dedicated to technical facilities and crewmembers. At a maximum cruising speed of 18 knots, Private’s power consumption is reduced to its minimum with the use of the latest technology for air conditioning equipment and insulation, solar power for sanitary hot water production, and a combination of diesel electric generators used for both propulsion plant and/or electric domestic needs.
